Christmas at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa

Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Christmas is one of my favorite times of year at the park, and Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa is providing guests with even more ways to help families create memories this holiday season. For a truly immersive Smoky Mountain Christmas experience, the resort is celebrating the holidays with a variety of festival-inspired activities, crafts, entertainment, décor and culinary options.

Decor

The resort’s halls are decked in beautiful Christmas décor inspired by warm, rich memories of Christmas in the Smoky Mountains. Inside, traditional reds and greens are beautifully blended with just a touch of sparkle. The centerpiece is an awe-inspiring 25-foot tall Christmas tree that can be seen from both levels of the lobby. The Dolly Parton Suite is decked for the “Dolly-days” with a glistening Christmas tree, garland and other dazzling holiday décor.

Culinary Experiences

DreamMore Resort’s Culinary Team is preparing delicious holiday meals in Song & Hearth: A Southern Eatery. Guests can gather together to give thanks and enjoy a delicious meal during Thanksgiving brunch with classics such as sage and butter roasted turkey with giblet gravy and candied sweet potatoes.

On Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy charcuterie and salads before feasting on flavorful entrees such as slow-roasted, hand-carved prime rib with rosemary au jus and the resort’s bacon-wrapped meatloaf with roasted tomato jam, all accompanied by Christmas favorites including smashed Yukon potatoes and Southern ratatouille. To finish their meal, guests can choose from a variety of delectable desserts such as seasonal pies and caramel bread pudding with bourbon glaze.

For Christmas Day brunch, guests can pick from a number of holiday favorites. Honey-glazed pit ham with pineapple cherry chutney and slow-roasted rack of lamb with mint béarnaise highlight our chef’s carving station. A variety of seafood options and omelet and pasta stations offer delicious choices for guests. Christmas favorites, such as apple and cranberry cornbread stuffing, green bean almondine and candied sweet potatoes are delicious accompaniments. For dessert, exquisite treats made in-house by our bakers, such as caramel bread pudding with bourbon glaze and a rich chocolate fountain, complete the perfect holiday meal.

Reservations are required, but you do not have to be a resort guest. To reserve a table for Song & Hearth’s holiday meals, call 865-428-9696.
