WHAT TO EXPECT

After the patches of frost melt away this morning, we’re left with a mostly sunny sky. Don’t let the sun fool you, there will be a wind out of the northeast that will make it feel cooler than the thermometer.
High’s on Friday will be near 51 in Knoxville to 48 in Crossville. However, at times it will “feel like” the mid to upper 30s.
Tonight with clear skies temperatures will fall back into the upper 20s across the area. Calm winds will help the frost to develop once again as well. Make sure you cover any plants or bring them inside.
LOOKING AHEAD
We’ll pick up on Saturday where we left off on Friday lots of sunshine across the area. Overall the Easter weekend looks to be pretty nice. Saturday will be slightly warmer with temperatures in the afternoon getting close to 60.
Easter Sunday’s sunrise services are frosty cold! We’re a little closer to 40 degrees by the end of services but it’s still heavy jacket or winter coat weather for the first weekend of April. Pack the sunglasses for Easter Supper plans.
There’s a very low-end chance of rain Monday afternoon. Then it’s quiet for Tuesday and most of Wednesday. There’s a late-night chance of rain Wednesday with more stormy weather to be expected Thursday and next Friday.
