HeartSong Lodge, country music superstar Dolly Parton’s latest Pigeon Forge development, is set to open next year.

Parton visited the Tennessee resort location last week. It’s part of a $500 million expansion by the Dollywood Parks & Resort Group with the new property located near Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa and Dollywood’s Splash Country water park.

“I’m so proud of this place that we’ve been able to build here in the Smokies,” Parton said. “I truly believe the natural beauty of the Smokies and the warmth of this special place will inspire every guest to nurture the ‘heartsong’ within them.”

The five-story 26,000 square foot resort, scheduled for a 2023 opening, will offer 302 themed family suites and bunk rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and an outdoor cove with gathering spaces. A two-story event center, full service restaurant and lounge and large lawn are part of the development.

Since 2010, The Dollywood Company has invested more than $220 million into its properties as part of an ongoing investment plan. More than 3 million people visit Dollywood theme park and Dollywood’s Splash Country each year.
