Max Robison Obituary (2022) – Greenfield, IN

Max Robison, age 80, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born in New Castle, Indiana on June 17, 1941, to Emery and Lily (Benbo) Robison.

He graduated from Spiceland High School in 1961. Mr. Robison served 3 years in the Army in Vietnam as an SP4 E4. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He married Lisa Graham on August 5, 1990.

He worked as a Dock Supervisor for Delco Remy 32 years before retiring in 1994. Mr. Robison enjoyed golfing, lake and saltwater fishing, and carpentry work, making picture frames and re-caning rocking chairs. Hewas a member of the PGA.

 is survived by his wife, Lisa Robison of Greenfield; daughters Lisa (Brent) Markgraf of Pigeon Forge,Tennessee, Kristin (Matt) Jarrett of Noblesville, and Wendy (Henry) Sonoda of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Travis Sizemore, Jason Sizemore, Madolyn Jarrett, Amelia Jarrett, and Griffin Sonoda; great-grandchildrenn Andrew Sizemore and Nathan Sizemore; and sisters Betty Gardner and Margie McCarty.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Charlie Hayes; and sister Myra Copeland.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m. following the visitation. Military honors will be presented by the U.S. Army and Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
