PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) – We’re waking up to building clouds and rain this morning, and more heavy rainfall is ahead for parts of this Saturday.

Mostly cloudy skies will be here for our Saturday with heavy rainfall this evening. Temperatures will stay in the mid 60s as we go into the afternoon, but we’re also increasing our rain chances as well.
High’s on Saturday will be near 70 in Knoxville to 65 in Crossville.
Rainfall will bring some heavy downpours at times across the area and we’ll have a 10th to quarter of inch through the day.
Tonight we’ll have some rain chances and temperatures near 52 to start Sunday.
LOOKING AHEAD
We’ll pick up on Sunday with the clouds and chances for rain in the morning and make way to more sunshine in the afternoon.
Monday and Tuesday are warming ahead of our next front. We’ll be in the upper 70s Monday and mid 70s Tuesday, with spotty rain and storms Tuesday to Wednesday. This front is felt more than seen, as we spend the rest of the week with highs in the 60s.
