Statewide standouts from Day 4

Here is a look at the top high school performers from the fourth day of the TSSAA spring sports state tournaments.

FRIDAY

Baseball

Cole Cates, Bradford: Tripled and had four RBIs in a 7-5 victory over Coalfield.

Cason Sharp, Bradford: Went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.

Grayson Saunier, Collierville: Had three RBIs in a 5-4 loss to Riverdale.

Holden Warmath, Covington: Went 2-for-3, including a triple, with four RBIs in a 10-3 win against Tennessee.

Kolten Daniel, Eagleville: Got the win, allowing two hits and striking out six in five innings of an 11-1 victory over Bradford.

Carter Rockhold, Eagleville: Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

Garett Brewer, Farragut: Went 2-for-3, including a homer, and had two RBIs in a 10-3 win against Riverdale.

Braden Bowyer, Forrest: Went 3-for-5 with two RBIs in a 9-8 loss to White House Heritage.

Riley Durbin, Forrest: Had three RBIs.

Logan Harrell, Goodpasture: Allowed three hits and had six strikeouts in five innings pitched of a 12-1 victory over Northpoint.

Jaron Elkins, Goodpasture: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Sherman Anderson, Goodpasture: Had three RBIs.

Brady Jones, Houston: Allowed one hit and struck out seven in 5.1 innings in a 4-3 win against Powell.

Dean McCalla, Houston: Homered and had two RBIs.

Nathan Breeden, Knoxville Catholic: Went 4-for-4 in an 11-3 loss to Lipscomb Academy.

TSSAA BASEBALL:TSSAA baseball state tournament 2022 schedule for Spring Fling

Miller Green, Lipscomb Academy: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored in an 11-3 win over Knoxville Catholic.

Aden Napier, Lipscomb Academy: Homered, had four RBIs and scored two runs in a 14-13 loss to McCallie.

Kainoa Zelaya, Loretto: Allowed four hits and struck out four in seven innings pitched of a 3-0 loss to Watertown.

Zachary Porter, McCallie: Went 3-for-3 with four RBIs in a 14-13 win over Lipscomb Academy.

Carter Hewitt, McCallie: Went 3-for-5, including a homer, and had three RBIs and two runs scored.

Jackson Cassidy, McKenzie: Struck out seven in seven innings pitched in a 2-1 loss to Peabody.

Ty Anderson, McKenzie: Got the win on the mound and had two RBIs in a 10-1 win over Gordonsville.

Jake McDaniel, McKenzie: Went 2-for-2, including a homer, and had four RBIs.

James Smith, Northpoint: Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 7-6 win against Goodpasture.

Eli Girard, Peabody: Got the win, striking out four in seven innings of a 2-1 victory over McKenzie.

Trevan Myers, Pigeon Forge: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 13-4 victory over White House Heritage.

Riley Franklin, Pigeon Forge: Went 2-for-3, including a homer, and had two RBIs.

Connor Bryson, Powell: Went 4-for-5 with five RBIs in an 8-4 victory over Stewarts Creek.

Gage Hoover, Stewarts Creek: Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in an 8-4 loss to Powell.

Caden Shanks, Upperman: Got the win, allowing three hits and striking out eight in a 7-0 win against South Gibson.

Kendal Bayse, Watertown: Threw a complete game, three-hitter and struck out seven in a 3-0 victory over Loretto.

Jordan Myers, White House Heritage: Went 4-for-5 with three RBIs and three runs scored in a 9-8 win against Forrest.

Softball

Jaylyn Halliburton, Alcoa: Homered and had two RBIs in a 10-6 win against Forrest.

Kaylee Snyder, Baylor: Got the complete-game win, striking out 10 in a 4-3 (Game 1) victory over GPS.

Riley Olesik, Baylor: Went 2-for-4, including a homer, and had three RBIs in an 8-2 (Game 2) win against GPS.

Holly Merritt, Baylor: Went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Morgan Sharpe, Baylor: Went 3-for-5 with two runs scored.

Averi Slaughter, Columbia Academy: Threw a complete game, four-hitter and struck out six in a 7-0 (Game 1) win against DCA. Allowed no hits and had seven strikeouts in a 13-0 (Game 2) victory over DCA.

Tori Duval, Columbia Academy: Went 2-for-4 with three RBIs in G1 against DCA. Went 3-for-3, including a homer, in G2.

Myleah Hardy, Columbia Academy: Homered and had three RBIs in G1. Homered three times and had seven RBIs in G2.

Kennedy Chatman, Columbia Academy: Went 4-for-4, including a homer, and had three RBIs and two runs scored in G2.

Maci Masters, Daniel Boone: Homered twice and had seven RBIs in an 8-4 victory over Wilson Central.

Bailey Shepard, DCA: Threw a complete game, three-hitter with eight strikeouts in a 3-1 win over Lakeway Christian.

Addisyn Linton, Eagleville: Threw a complete game, four-hitter and went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in a 4-3 victory against Huntland.

Ava Guzowski, Farragut: Went 3-for-3, including a homer, and had four RBIs and two runs scored in an 11-0 victory over Clarksville.

Carli Warner, Forrest: Went 3-for-3, including a homer, and had two RBIs in a 10-6 loss to Alcoa.

Lacey Keck, Gibbs: Threw a complete game, five-hitter and struck out four in a 2-1 win against Lincoln Co.

Abbie Buckner, Gibbs: Went 2-for-3, including a triple.

Kailey Plumlee, Gordonsville: Allowed three hits and had 18 strikeouts in six innings pitched of a 3-1 loss to Jo Byrns.

Kennedy Moody, GPS: Went 2-for-4, including a homer, and had two RBIs in a 4-3 loss to Baylor.

Ansley Blevins, GPS: Homered and had three RBIs in a 5-4 victory over Tipton-Rosemark Academy.

Ansley Bratcher, GPS: Went 3-for-3, including the game-winning single, and had two RBIs.

Ashtyn Danley, Huntland: Allowed four hits and struck out 10 in six innings pitched of a 4-3 loss to Eagleville.

Ryley Brannon, Huntland: Doubled and had three RBIs.

Katie Fultz, Lakeway Christian: Threw a complete game, five-hitter and struck out 10 in a 4-0 win against Jackson Christian.

Cadey McDaniel, Lexington: Got the pitching win and had two RBIs in a 10-2 victory over Hardin Co.

Mykenzi Duke, Lexington: Went 2-for-3, including a homer, and had three RBIs and three runs scored.

Mackenzie Bivens, Loretto: Doubled and had three RBIs in a 4-3 win over Summertown.

Anna Burleson, Summertown: Homered and had two RBIs in a 4-3 loss to Loretto.

Brooke Harrison, Tipton-Rosemark Academy: Went 4-for-5 with three runs scored in a 9-1 victory over Chattanooga Christian.

Neely Grantham, TRA: Got the pitching win, striking out four, and had two hits and two RBIs.

Kayla Clement, TRA: Went 2-for-4 with three runs scored.

Lanie Howe, TRA: Went 2-for-3, including a homer, and had three RBIs and two runs scored in a 5-4 loss to GPS.

Maddison Stowell, Wilson Central: Went 3-for-3 with three RBIs in an 8-4 loss to Daniel Boone.

Forrest Wells, Brentwood: Scored two goals in a 4-1 win over Bearden.
