Statewide standouts from Day 4

Here is a look at the top high school performers from the fourth day of the TSSAA spring sports state tournaments.



Cole Cates, Bradford: Tripled and had four RBIs in a 7-5 victory over Coalfield.

Cason Sharp, Bradford: Went 3-for-3 with two runs scored.

Grayson Saunier, Collierville: Had three RBIs in a 5-4 loss to Riverdale.

Holden Warmath, Covington: Went 2-for-3, including a triple, with four RBIs in a 10-3 win against Tennessee.

Kolten Daniel, Eagleville: Got the win, allowing two hits and striking out six in five innings of an 11-1 victory over Bradford.

Carter Rockhold, Eagleville: Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored.

Garett Brewer, Farragut: Went 2-for-3, including a homer, and had two RBIs in a 10-3 win against Riverdale.

Braden Bowyer, Forrest: Went 3-for-5 with two RBIs in a 9-8 loss to White House Heritage.

Riley Durbin, Forrest: Had three RBIs.

Logan Harrell, Goodpasture: Allowed three hits and had six strikeouts in five innings pitched of a 12-1 victory over Northpoint.

Jaron Elkins, Goodpasture: Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored.

Sherman Anderson, Goodpasture: Had three RBIs.

Brady Jones, Houston: Allowed one hit and struck out seven in 5.1 innings in a 4-3 win against Powell.

Dean McCalla, Houston: Homered and had two RBIs.

Nathan Breeden, Knoxville Catholic: Went 4-for-4 in an 11-3 loss to Lipscomb Academy.
