Dine-In Food Review – 2021: If you visit Pigeon Forge, you may have heard that you need to try Mama’s Chicken Kitchen. On our travel to eat our way through East Tennessee, we answer the questions: Yum or Scum? Does it live up to the hype? Would we come back? Can’t anyone cook like Mama?
From Mama’s Chicken Kitchen website:
Chicken Good Enough To Cross The Road For
We serve the same fried chicken and homemade sides that you fell in love with at Mama’s Farmhouse in Pigeon Forge.
Here in Gatlinburg, we do things a little differently. Our chicken and sides are served by the plate if you want to eat with us. Or we offer it by the bucket To Go if you want to take a picnic to the Smoky Mountains or feed that hungry group of athletes at Rocky Top Sports World, which is nearby.

Mama’s Chicken Kitchen offers 8, 12, and 20 piece chicken bucket meals To Go. They are perfect for taking a picnic to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The entrance to the national park is roughly 5 miles away and there are numerous picnic areas within the park. Check out our menu options, then take your meal to the Smokies and find out why it is one of the most visited National Parks in the country.
