Dragonflier Roller Coaster Front Row POV in 60 fps Dollywood 2022

Dragonflier is a dragonfly-themed suspended steel roller coaster located at Dollywood amusement park in Pigeon Forge, TN. It was built by Dutch manufacturer Vekoma in 2019 as the centerpiece ride in Dollywood’s new Wildwood Grove park expansion. The ride was targeted to children and families as an intermediate “stepping stone” coaster that can be enjoyed by young children and thrill seekers alike. The ride layout was designed to mimic the flight of a dragonfly, staying low to the ground and focusing on smooth zooming twists and turns. Meant to be as non-intimidating as possible, the ride was built to be as quiet, utilizing drive tires to propel the trains up the lift hill instead of a chain lift. The ride features a 63 foot drop through an underground tunnel and the rest of the layout features banked turns and twists as well as near-misses. The ride does not feature any inversions but still manages to reach 50mph and exerts 3.5 Gs on riders giving thrill seekers a surprising punch. It’s a short and sweet ride at 1486ft of track length with the ride lasting at 1 minute. Minimum rider height is 39 inches.
