PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Friday, sunshine returns in the wake of strong storms. Even though it’s a cold front, temperatures will still be in the 70s.
Saturday starts off clear, but more clouds and scattered rain showers will sneak in through the morning with isolated storms moving in during the afternoon. Highs will top out near 70 degrees.

Our next First Alert goes into effect Saturday night, as heavy rain and scattered stronger storms move through. An isolated severe storm is possible at this time, with gusty winds being the main threat. We’ll have an 80% coverage through Sunday morning, and then clearing west to east late morning to early afternoon. Another 1 to 2 inches of rain can move through at time, and areas saturated could have flooding.
Scattered rain lingers into Sunday morning, with a high of 65 degrees.
Monday clears out and cools down, but it’s just below average. The morning is close to 40 degrees, which is seasonable, and the afternoon is few degrees below “normal”, with a high of 60 degrees.
Showers start gradually moving in again Tuesday, then a better chances builds up Wednesday to Wednesday night.
