Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg gear up for spring break business boom

The CDC wants the spring breakers to stay safe. He recommends staying home instead of driving.

SEVIER COUNTY, Tennessee – The CDC recommends delaying spring break travel this year, but tourist hotspots, like Sevier County, are still bracing for the inevitable vacationers.

In a few weeks, school districts in eastern Tennessee will begin their spring break, which could mean increased travel and crowds.

Pigeon Forge Tourism Department Executive Director Leon Downey revealed that travel requests had already increased by 20% this year.
