This is our first time going so we had to document it. We don’t do a lot of food reviews…but we sure eat our a lot.

Captain Jim’s Seafood Buffet offers a great selection for all seafood lovers. I was surprised! The crab legs were awesome! They were sweet with no seasoning added, which is the way I like my crab legs. What surprised me more than the crab legs were the crab cakes! So moist, made with chucks of crab and light seasoning….WOW!
The restaurant was clean and everyone was very friendly. The buffet bar was tended to properly. The crab legs kept coming out hot and fresh. We definitely got our $40 worth. You’ll find us back there again. The ratings and review we read now seem unfair. While they were pretty bad reviews I think Captain Jim’s outperformed them. Maybe at one time it wasn’t great, but now I believe it’s a top ten place to eat in Pigeon Forge.
